Kevin Smith's fictional fast-food franchise is coming to Toronto

Mooby's, the fictional fast-food chain featured in the Jay & Silent Bob movies is coming to Toronto! The fast-food franchise is featured in a number of Kevin Smith movies including Dogma, Clerks II and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. Following the successful pop-ups in Chicago, New Jersey and Los Angeles, Mooby’s will be making an appearance in Etobicoke this month!

Headed by popular BBQ restaurant The Carbon Bar, Mooby's will be operating out of Kitchen Hub, a "virtual food hall" where restaurant concepts only offering takeout and delivery can utilize the shared kitchen space. Beginning this Thursday November 12, the pop-up will be available for pick-up in-person at Kitchen Hub. Delivery and online ordering will be available throughout the GTA on Skip The Dishes starting November 26.

The menu features a selection of comfort food favourites and is currently open for pre-orders through Tock. Mooby's meals include their Beef Cow Tipper Burger, a double cheeseburger stacked high with their signature sauce, pickles and mustard, a vegan Beyond Meat burger, a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, a smoked brisket sandwich with espresso BBQ sauce, Hater Totz and a vegan or beef Mooby’s Moo-tine -- special to the Canadian pop-up. The pop-up is also selling their merch featuring designs by digital artist Nate Gonzales.

Although Jay and Silent Bob will not be present at the Toronto pop-up due to COVID restrictions, they are hoping to make an appearance at other events as "Mooby’s expands across not just Degrassi land, but also the other provinces".

Mooby's pop-up is located at 935 The Queensway and is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
