Riverdale Park is known for being one of the most spectacular spots to admire the sunset in the city, and now you can add your favourite Italian food to that experience.
Il Fornello on the Danforth has taken outdoor dining to the next level by offering a sunset dinner delivery service to Riverdale Park, so you can have a truly authentic city dining experience with great food and gorgeous views. This means that now, you can enjoy their Neapolitan-style pizzas, classic penne a la vodka, calamari fritti and other Il Fornello classics, in the great outdoors.
The entire menu, including plant-based options, is available for direct delivery to Riverdale Park from Monday to Friday starting at 5:30 p.m., and according to their website, the delivery is free of charge.
Customers can pre-order by calling into the restaurant or via the online ordering platform Ambassador.
Il Fornello also has a flag in Riverdale Park between Bain and Withrow Avenues about 30 feet down the hill with a QR code printed on it, where you can access the menu and dispose of your garbage after the end of the evening.
They explained on their website that with the patio reopening, the delivery may not be available at all times but they will do their best to keep the experience going.
