New Hong Kong style cafe opens to massive lineups

There's a brand new HK style cafe that just opened to a great reception near Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.

Good Luck HK Cafe is aptly named because it'll require some good luck just to get a table. Having just soft opened in mid-October, this small HK style cafe already has lineups out the door and along the street.

One the menu you'll find classic HK style dishes like sizzling hot plates, baked rice dishes, HK style toast, and an array of pineapple bun options. Besides some of the more traditional dishes, you can find dishes like Chicken Cutlet in Black Truffle Sauce, Molten Salted Egg Yolk French Toast and a massive chicken curry in a massive loaf of brick toast.

They also do a variety of desserts and drinks as well. The most popular is a HK Milk Tea with a Teddy Bear acting as the base.

They have been so busy that they close their online ordering is consistently closed, and they aren't on any delivery platforms at the moment. Only way to try the food right now is to go in person.

Good Luck HK Cafe is located at 5533 Yonge Street in North York. They are open six days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The one day you won't find a lineup is Monday as they'll be closed. Otherwise, be sure to get in the queue now if you want a chance at trying it out.
