Greenhouse Juice Co. launches a new pantry initiative

The Canadian beverage company, known for producing cold-pressed juices, smoothies and other plant-based snacks is introducing a new initiative in the wake of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Greenhouse Juice Co. recently launched The Greenhouse Plant Pantry, a collection of high-quality sourced goods and essentials meant to support local Canadian businesses. All April orders will donate $2 from each purchase to the CanadaHelps COVID-19 Community Care Fund.

Welcome to our Plant Pantry launch party! 👯‍♀️ The Greenhouse Plant Pantry is a shoppable collection of local, plant-based pantry items (including refrigerated and frozen goods), that we can deliver to your door as early as tomorrow morning via our contactless doorstep delivery program in Toronto and the surrounding region. Many local food and beverage businesses have seen their distribution dwindle or disappear in this crisis as restaurants and cafés have closed their doors. Meanwhile, we all still need healthy, delicious goods for our pantries – perhaps now more than ever. And so we’ve embraced the obvious: it’s time for Greenhouse’s doorstep delivery service to offer more than just your organic beverage fix. Throughout April when you buy something from our Plant Pantry, not only will you be supporting small businesses during a challenging time, but we will donate $2 from every order to the @CanadaHelps COVID-19 Community Care Fund in support of vulnerable communities across Canada affected by COVID-19. This fund includes over 490 registered charities across Canada supporting emergency food, housing, and the unique needs of vulnerable communities such as children and seniors who are at most risk due to isolation and social distancing in Canada. Best of all, donations to this Fund are fully matched for the month of April by the Gore Mutual Foundation, so every Plant Pantry purchase results in $4 going straight to charities supporting urgent community needs in response to COVID-19. To join the Pantry party, visit greenhouse.ca. We’re adding new items constantly; send us your requests: 💌 hello@greenhouse.ca. Thank you for partying with us! #ghplantpantry

The Plant Pantry has a wide selection of items for sale. A fresh organic produce box, frozen produce, Brodflour freshly milled flour, Subtext and Pilot coffee, Mabel's granola, legumes and spices, sauces, local snacks, CXBO chocolate, nuts from The Roasted Nut, Famiglia Baldassarre pasta and of course, juices from Greenhouse are some of the offerings available.

Greenhouse started the Plant Pantry in order to do their part to help small Canadian businesses suffering from the ramifications of COVID-19; especially since a majority of local businesses have lost distribution. The plant-based juice company is offering contactless doorstep delivery, with free delivery on orders over $65, a minimum delivery order of $29 and a $10 delivery fee for all orders that do not hit or exceed $65. The shop offers delivery from Hamilton to the Beaches, from Downtown to Vaughan, as well as Scarborough, Pickering and Brampton.
