This gourmet grocer is bringing first 3D virtual grocery experience to Canada

A local Toronto grocery chain is doing its best to adapt to the ongoing pandemic with an exciting new concept. McEwan Fine Foods stores are bringing the first 3D virtual grocery shopping experience to Canada. In partnership with INABUGGY, a popular Canadian grocery delivery service, the new online portal will allow Toronto residents to grocery shop safely from their homes through the McEwan catalogue.

When customers go into the online portal, they can virtually walk through the aisles at McEwan Don Mills and select items to put into their virtual buggy. Rather than going through filtered lists of products, McEwan says they think customers will enjoy the virtual experience instead.

The partnership will help local Toronto residents who are itching for more upscale grocery store options. McEwan also plans to launch their own line of meal kits that can be purchased through INABUGGY. Once customers pick out what they want, INABUGGY personal shoppers will pick out the produce selected, pack it and deliver it directly to customer's doors.
