You can now get footlong soft serve at a new ice cream store in Markham.
The Milkman Creamery is the latest venture to come from Linh Vu and Julia Park, the co-owners of a wildly popular food vendor, Yosh.To. They’re known for coming up with fun and delicious creations, like their cotton candy ice cream burritos, bubble tea pancakes, pho soup dumplings and Korean corn dogs.
Due to the pandemic, they haven’t been able to attend any night markets or food festivals, which got them thinking of a new concept that’s now being served at their ice cream store. The Milkman Creamery is home to footlong soft serve that towers at a height of approximately 14 levels.
A footlong cone is $10, but you can get it for free if you successfully complete their Ice Cream Challenge––all you have to do is finish it in under a minute and it’s yours.
For those who aren’t up for the challenge, they also have regular-sized soft serve that’s available in a cup or a freshly-made thyme waffle cone, floats, sundaes and a variety of teas and drinks.
The Milkman Creamery is located in Langham Square at 8339 Kennedy Road in Markham. They’re open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. and are offering 15 per cent off all orders until August 6 to celebrate their grand opening.
