Stay cool all summer long with Scarborough's newest gelato pop-up, Gelato Freak.
Gelato Freak is churning up 12 outrageously decadent gelato flavours including Kinder Bueno, Ferrero Rocher, London Fog, Caramel Cookie Crunch and Strawberry Cheesecake, as well as 4 vegan flavours.ย
If those gelato flavours aren't already beyond your wildest expectations, the pop-up is also serving scoops on top of cinnamon sugar churros, Belgian waffles and triple chocolate chunk cookies.
Among these crazy gelato creations is the Los Dulce Churros which features caramel cookie crunch gelato with Skor bits, caramel drizzle and real whipped cream served over warm cinnamon sugar churros.
Another notable favourite is the Strawberry Shortfreak -- a warm Belgian waffle topped with strawberry cheesecake gelato, graham cracker crumble, real strawberry topping, cream cheese icing and rainbow sprinkles.
If bittersweet is more your style, the pop-up is also offering a Pistachio Gelato Cookie Sandwich and an Affogato bar.ย
Gelato Freak is operating out of Vanta Coffee Club at 2101 Brimley Road #111, Scarborough and is open daily from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. all summer long.ย
