The popular grocer announced the opening of a new location in the heart of Toronto’s Harbourfront community.
Farm Boy, one of Ontario’s fastest-growing grocery store brands, is expanding yet again in the downtown area, with their latest outpost slated to open next week inside the Queens Quay Terminal. This is the second Toronto location to open in 2021, with two more locations set to open later this year.
Known for their flagship private label products and wide selection of farm-fresh grocery staples, Farm Boy has become a popular grocery store option for Toronto residents. The grocery chain has ramped up their store count in the city since last year––the Harbourfront location will mark the company’s sixth Toronto store.
The space boasts over 19,300 square feet that will feature Farm Boy’s signature stations, including a full service hot bar and salad station and a made-to-order grill station for on-the-go eats.
“We're excited to welcome customers to our Harbourfront location to get a taste of the signature Farm Boy experience,” said Jean-Louis Bellemare, the president and general manager at Farm Boy. "Our team is focused on providing our customers with an exceptional in-store experience with outstanding service that is truly 'all about the food.'"
Earlier this year, Farm Boy opened their last Toronto location at Bathurst Street and Front Street. The new store will also have Farm Boy’s wide array of popular private label products to make shopping for groceries seamless and easy.
In a press release, the company says the new location will employ 135 people in the community.
Farm Boy’s Harbourfront store will be the chain’s 37th location in Ontario, with five more on the way this year. This new location is set to open on May 6 inside the Queens Quay Terminal at 207 Queens Quay West.
