Famed Ottawa-based bagel company, Kettleman's Bagel has announced that their first-ever Toronto location will officially be opening November 10.
The opening, initially set for earlier this year, was delayed due to the pandemic, but the popular bagel company took to Instagram last Friday and shared a photo of the staff hard at work as they train and prepare for the opening.
“We’re expanding to our first location in Toronto, in Etobicoke, on Brown’s Line in the Alderwoods Plaza. We’re pretty excited about that,” said Chris Saracino, director of communications at Kettleman’s Bagel Company.
As of the late, the sought after area is seeing an increased interest with the recent opening of Ontario retailer, Farm Boy, who also carries Kettleman's products in their bakery department.
The new location hasn't even opened yet and is already receiving an overwhelming response from locals. To meet these demands, "[Kettleman's] ovens [will be] turning out, literally, thousands of bagels a day, 24 hours a day," Saracino continues.
Kettleman's makes their award-winning bagels fresh in house daily, 24/7, 365 days a year. From their classic Montreal-style bagels like sesame, poppy seed and cinnamon raisin bagels to the minis and their bozo bagel (three bagels twisted into one giant bagel), Kettleman's Bagel will without a doubt, live up to the hype.
They have 9 different spreads, each with a unique combination of flavours including their hot pepper cream cheese, lox and blueberry cream cheese spreads. They even have a non-dairy version for those lactose intolerant folk!
Kettleman's Bagel is set to open November 10 at 847 Brown's Line in Etobicoke.
