Enoteca Sociale is back and better than ever

After closing down for renovations at the very start of 2020, Italian hotspot Enoteca Sociale is now welcoming guests back in to experience their refreshed look and upgraded menu.

Enoteca Sociale

The owners of the beloved Little Italy restaurant decided that, after ten years of operation, it was time to give their interior a fresh upgrade. The new space features an open-concept kitchen area, which boasts a "chef's bar" that has room for a few guests to experience a four-course tasting menu created before their eyes by chef de cuisine Kyle Ridinella. Extra banquette seating has been added, in addition to beautiful stained-glass ceiling lights that give the room a warm, cozy glow. The overall design draws heavy inspiration from classic Roman-style shapes, colours and architecture in order to convey a sense of comfort and authenticity.

In terms of food, Enoteca Sociale's menu also received a bit of a revamp. Thankfully, their two most adored pasta dishes remain available -- the creamy, peppery cacio e pepe, which is considered one of the best in the city, and the amatriciana, their classic pork and red sauce delight. New dishes included a ricotta cavatelli pasta and a selection of small starter plates, plus a rotating selection of cheeses for building their coveted cheese boards. The restaurant's founding principles of drawing from traditional Roman cooking styles, using the freshest seasonal ingredients and creating their own pastas, breads and cured meats in-house remain the same, so guests can look forward to a unique and authentic dining experience. An extensive wine list highlighting Italian grapes perfectly complements the food.

Enoteca Sociale is open daily for dinner from 5-11 pm, so go and check out their revamped space and enjoy some of the city's most delicious Italian food and wine!
