Celebrate Eataly Toronto's third birthday with a specially curated dinner

Birthdays are always a great time. You get to reminisce about the year gone by and look forward to all the opportunities yet to come down the road. The festivities can be even more fun when shared with a larger crowd, which is exactly what Eataly Toronto is planning on doing. So if you're reading this, you're invited to its third birthday party!

The Italian marketplace's anniversary celebrations will take place on Nov. 12 at its culinary school, La Scuola, and will feature a delectable homemade specialty dinner featuring some of its best Italian cuisines. Tickets are available to be purchased here

Beginning with a scrumptious antipasto and ending with an exquisite dessert prepared in-house, the dinner menu is as follows:

  • Salumi e formaggi (essentially charcuterie) board with some of Eataly's favourites with a glass of Ronco Belvedere Prosecco
  • Agnolotti del plin (a house favourite, similar to ravioli) with truffle butter sauce, topped with fresh shaved black truffle served with a glass of Fontanafredda Langhe Nebbiolo Ebbio
  • Arrosti di vitello brasato al latte (veal roast braised in milk) served with a glass of Donna Laura 'Bramosia' Chianti Classico
  • Specialty dessert prepared by the pastry chef

Along with enjoying appetizing fare specially curated for the celebrations, the patrons will also be able to learn about the history of Eataly and how it has transformed over many years.

After five years of extensive planning, Eataly Toronto opened its doors on Nov. 13, 2019. While it was the 40th link in the Italian chain, it became the first Canadian outpost.

Since then, it has wriggled its way into people's daily lives, offering a vast selection of grocery items that not only pay homage to all things Italian food but also support local Canadian products. If not groceries, visitors can also indulge in delicious meals from a variety of restaurants or even learn more about Italian cuisine through its educational programs.

After seeing the huge success of the first location, Eataly Toronto in October revealed plans to open up a second location, a decision met with nothing but cheers.

Eataly Toronto's anniversary dinner will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 12 at La Scuola located at 55 Bloor St. W. Tickets are available for purchase here. For more information, visit its website
