Many are familiar with Earls, the Vancouver-based restaurant chain whose King Street location here in Toronto is popular amongst the after-work crowd. Like all others, the restaurant has been forced to temporarily suspend dine-in service during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering meal delivery and pickup through SkipTheDishes and even 1/2 priced bottles of wine and beer for pickup. Now, the restaurant group has taken their solution even further, introducing a grocery service to help ease the current frustration of long grocery store lines.
Earls Grocery, which launched yesterday, includes an impressive selection of essentials, fresh ingredients and fully prepared meals, plus 20% off when you pickup an order. They're offering a few different grocery packs of fresh items, including produce, dairy and eggs, meats, vegetarian essentials (plant-based proteins) and pantry staples like flour, rice, pasta, coffee and oils. In addition, you can purchase prepared meal components like marinated ribs, spice mix, sauces and dressings, as well as ready-made meals to serve two to four people and chef kits for making your own bread or pizza at home. Last but not least, believe it or not, they even have hand soap and toilet paper! Everything ranges in price from $30 to $99.
Needless to say, Earls is covering all the bases with their new offerings, making it easy for Torontonians to eat at home without visiting the over-crowded grocery stores. To place an order, you can call the restaurant directly, choose your desired items and arrange a pickup time. Happy shopping!
