Toronto bakery Dufflet Pastries has opened a new pickup location at the Yonge & Eligible Cafe in Midtown. Located just steps from Yonge and Eglinton, the new location will allow customers in the area to pick up their online orders of cakes, pastries and desserts of all kinds.
This comes nearly two years after the Dufflet location at 2638 Yonge Street in uptown closed its doors, leaving just the flagship storefront on Queen Street West, and the bakery headquarters in Etobicoke.
The Yonge & Eligible Cafe partner location, as well as the Etobicoke location are for order pickups only. Order deadlines for pickup range from 5 p.m. Sunday for Tuesday or Wednesday pickup, 4 p.m. Tuesday for Thursday pickup and 12 p.m. Thursday for pickup on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The Dufflet name has become synonymous with baked sweets in Toronto since Dufflet Rosenberg established her bakery in 1975. Dufflet’s cakes, cookies and chocolates have been pleasing dinner tables, cafes and restaurants across Toronto over the years, and today can even be found wholesale in places like Loblaws for some of their specialty products and their Small Indulgences line of sweets.
The new location can be found at the Yonge & Eligible Cafe at 155 Redpath Avenue, just north east of Yonge and Eglinton.
