The popular Hamilton-based brewery Collective Arts just opened its highly anticipated Collective Arts Toronto storefront on Wednesday, October 7, to coincide with Canadian Beer Day. The new location features a brewery, taproom, kitchen and store with a massive selection of their signature beers, ciders, gins, sparkling teas and cocktails currently available for pickup.
Collective Arts is known for its frequent collaborations with local artists to adorn their cans with unique designs and patterns, and their magnificent storefront is no different. Muralist Ola Volo put her bright stamp all over the two-story building at the corner of Dundas and Markham Streets, which has already attracted countless selfies from enthusiastic fans as well as lineups snaking around the building. There is an ongoing open call on Collective Arts' website for Toronto-based artists to submit their work for inclusion on their labels.
They've also announced they will have their full distilling lineup available to-go and in-house, in addition to a yet-to-be-announced wine lineup. We might also optimistically assume there will be future in-store exclusives likely not available for sale at the LCBO or Beer Store.
Service is currently limited to bottle shop pickup and merch sales, but will hopefully soon expand to include taproom service as social distancing regulations are adjusted. Collective Arts Toronto is located at 777 Dundas St. W. and is open daily from 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
