Toronto burger pop-up, Burger Drops is teaming up with Off the Menu and Uber Eats to help you celebrate National Burger Day!
Burger Drops, known for their smash burger pop-ups across the city, is cooking up something extra juicy for this year's Off the Menu Burger Showdown presented by Uber Eats.
The second annual Burger Showdown is the biggest one yet, featuring over 50 restaurants and 50 special guests in 10 cities, all serving up -- you guessed it -- burgers!
For the first time ever, Burger Drops will be offering delivery via Uber Eats this Thursday through Saturday in celebration of National Burger Day on May 28, 2020.
The menu features their signature single and double cheeseburgers made from ground chuck, American cheese, griddled sweet onions, house made pickles and Drops sauce on a Martin's Potato Roll; served with shoestring fries. Burger Drops is also releasing a new surprise burger.
The Burger Showdown made its debut in 2018 hosted by Off the Menu and Postmates. Nine burger chefs collaborated with a celebrity to come up with special, over-the-top burger to be crowned the Secret Burger Showdown Champion. Celebrity DJ, Marshmello and LA restaurant Plan Check took home the trophy with their truffle cheese and charcoal ketchup leather burger.
This year with a global pandemic and the hard-hit food industry, it's difficult to tell exactly how the burger event will be going down -- but one thing's for sure -- stay safe, support local businesses and order in the city's finest smash burger this weekend!
