American Whiskey is the talk of the town come today, June 14, with the onset of Bourbon Day. To commemorate the day, Trinity Market, in collaboration with Cheers! American Spirits will host a Sip School where American Whiskey will take centerstage.
Patrons will embark on a luxurious journey through American rye and corn spirits as they explore a variety of bourbons, American rye, Tennessee whiskey and exclusive American single malts, the kinds that are yet even to touch Canadian shores.
Join Chef Matt Dean Pettit and the team from Cheers! as they masquerade as whiskey shamans for the night as they guide you through the intricacies of the complex liquors and imbibe knowledge that will leave you wiser than when you entered. Complementing the tasting will also be a curated pairing menu featuring barbecue bites, cheeses and other delicious treats that Trinity Market has come to be known for.
If Wednesday doesn’t work, fret not! Trinity Market will run a 10-day American Whiskey Sip School from Thursday until the 25th. Priced at only $30, it will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the spirit from Canada’s neighbours to the south.
