Canoe -- located on the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower -- will be reopening its doors to the public on August 14.
This year marks their 25th anniversary and the completion of their renovations in February. Guests were able to experience the new Canoe for three weeks before closing their doors again in March due to the pandemic.
During their temporary closure, an eight-week collaboration with their sister restaurant, Auberge du Pommier, was underway to continue providing takeout service through weekly tasting menus.
With Stage 3 now upon us, Canoe is getting ready to reopen again following health and safety guidelines. Guidelines include wearing a mask by both employees and guests, digital menus, physical distancing with tables spread two metres apart, a maximum of ten people per table, cashless payment, enhanced sanitation protocols and more.
There will also be time limits in place due to the restaurant’s limited seating capacity of 50%, with accommodations if needed. Tables of one to two guests will have 2 hours and 45 minutes to dine in, 3 hours and 15 minutes for three to four guests, 3 hours and 30 minutes for five to six and 3 hours and 45 minutes for tables of seven or more.
Dinner reservations are now available online to enjoy their mouthwatering food and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower in their newly renovated space.
