Burger lovers rejoice, Toronto smashburger pop-up Burger Drops is officially opening up shop this Friday!
Brothers Christos and Greg Bourolias, who started Burger Drops together in 2018.
What began as a small, family-run pop-up has evolved into a city-wide burger frenzy. Started by brothers Greg and Christos Bourolias with one small grill, their smash burgers quickly gained popularity. Before they knew it, burger devotees followed the beloved pop-up across the city, forming lines event after event.
The team even garnered the attention of George Motz, the Godfather of America's cheeseburgers and was also featured on Off the Menu's Burger Showdown earlier this year.
Known for their smashed chuck patties, griddled sweet onions, house-made pickles and signature Drops sauce served on a pillowy Martin's potato roll; the Drop Shop will be slinging all of the favourites, plus a few new items. Though an official menu is yet to be released, the restaurant has teased at cheesy fries and bacon cheeseburgers being added to the menu.
Drop Shop is officially opening this Friday, September 18 from 12 p.m.-9 p.m., walk-in only at 116 Atlantic Avenue in Liberty Village.
