The beloved Toronto cider crafters have partnered up with small local businesses to curate an intimate and fun Valentine’s date box.
Brickworks Cider is one of Toronto’s top craft cider companies with a quality line of cider products available. Their brick and mortar Ciderhouse in Riverside has become a treasured local spot for country-style brunch and cider flights.
Like many bars and restaurants in Toronto, the Ciderhouse has pivoted to delivery and takeout amidst the pandemic––and like many others, have started crafting meal kits to bring their restaurant experience home to their patrons.
The “Apple of My Eye” box is a specially curated brunch box that includes a casual, farmhouse-inspired meal kit as well as a hand-picked selection of gifts from local businesses that adds to the experience.
Included in the box is a fresh batter to prepare fluffy pancakes with a blueberry compote as well as a vibrant, ready-to-heat rosti with smoked salmon, creme fraiche, dill and pickled onions.
It wouldn’t be brunch without mimosas either––the box will include a bottle of orange juice from Chasers and the popular Brickworks cider, Batch: 1904, for the perfectly puckered brunch beverage.
Additionally, the box will include a fresh bouquet of flowers from Opening Night Flowers, a pair of branded toques made by Brickworks and a hand-poured candle from Lohn to really set the cozy mood.
As an added touch, they’ve added a fun game of 50 thought-provoking questions from Outer Layer to spark up memories and conversations.
The boxes are available to pre-order starting today until Feb. 10 and can be picked up at the Ciderhouse at 709 Queen Street East from Feb. 12 to 13.
