Big Trouble Pizza, a Chinatown spot specializing in pies with unique toppings, just announced the return of their burger menu.
All year long, Big Trouble Pizza has been satisfying the cravings of Torontonians who visit their Spadina counter for a creative, one-of-a-kind slice of pizza. When they're not slinging pies though, the team is working on another fan favourite food––smash burgers––and are finally back on the menu.
Their smash burgers originally debuted at their Annex Hotel location with an overwhelming reception, and since then, they are available only a few weeks per year. After a long wait of eight months, Big Trouble Pizza announced on their Instagram account that they are bringing back 'Burger Tuesdays'.
The burger is made of ground chuck beef seared on a hot flat top. It is served with American cheese, crispy iceberg lettuce, onions, crunchy pickles, mayo, and ketchup. The special sauce contains pickle juice and the buns are toasted with sugar for a brûlée crispiness touch.
With this combination of ingredients, Big Trouble Pizza promises a burger with great texture that will satisfy you with every bite.
The smash burgers are served every Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., or until sold out. They make to order, fresh and hot, so no pre-orders available.
