The popular brewery is opening up the floor to their loyal fanbase to choose their next fruit pairing for their flagship beer, Jelly King.
Bellwoods Brewery is one of Toronto's most beloved breweries with a lineup of unique and tasty brews. The market for craft beer in Ontario is flooded with great-tasting beers made by knowledgable and passionate brewers. This time though, Bellwoods is asking for help with a new rendition of one of their most popular beers.
Jelly King is the name of their flagship dry-hopped sour ale, and is available in different flavours and dependant on the season. The brewery announced on their Instagram that they had recently become exposed to new fruits to brew with, and that the next edition of Jelly King will be the result of a public vote.
They are currently teasing four fruity combinations to vote on: a raspberry and Meyer lemon, red dragonfruit and pineapple, pomegranate and lime, or a Cara Cara orange and blood orange pairing.
We don't know about you, but these all sound like they should be brewed anyways, which may be the case––but Bellwoods is selecting just one winner this time around.
Votes for the new flavour can be made by simply commenting on the post. The winning flavour combination will be announced sometime next week and will be bottled and available later this year.
Bellwoods Brewery is still operating as a bottle shop for the time being at their two locations in the west end of Toronto or the facility in North York.
