Upon entry to the website, customers can search through a delicious selection of items, including prepared meals, sauces and accompaniments, do-it-yourself meal kits, gifts and more.
With the mall currently operating under modified hours and with limited merchants, the goal of this service is twofold. Provide accessible, contactless access to those seeking out more upscale food options and bring a much-needed business boost to restaurants and shops within the shopping centre that have shut down.
Melissa Evans-Lee, VP of Retail for Bayview Village's property group, says Gastronomer has the aim of "highlighting the best of the best of Bayview Village's culinary options...in addition to providing convenient gourmet options for our customers, this is meant to directly help our food and beverage tenants during a very challenging time."
Hungry customers can sift through numerous tasty options on the Gastronomer website as a "one-stop-shop" for all of their culinary needs. Orders can be placed online up to 24 hours in advance and picked up curbside at a selected time, with a complimentary set of four BV coasters in every order. Gastronomer is ideal for finding a last-minute meal to bring to a family dinner or cottage weekend.
