Great news for brunch lovers across the city who are missing their Sunday fix: Alobar, the chic Yorkville bistro and little sister to Toronto's popular Alo, is now offering a new "Alobar at Home" initiative, allowing diners to pick up multi-course meals to enjoy at home.
Alobar has launched their at-home menus for pickup through Tock To Go, a service whose mission is to help keep the hospitality industry going during these difficult times through their pickup and delivery software. Bookings for at-home meals can be made up to a full week in advance, ensuring that you can secure the meal you want and allowing the restaurant to better prepare for demand.
For May 24th, the Alobar team is offering a full Sunday brunch spread, and you're not going to want to miss out on this one. Feast on delicious seafood dishes like salmon sashimi and lobster smothered in melted butter, along with a classic steak tartare, a crunchy wedge salad and a ricotta-topped charred potato flat bread. On the side, choose from add-ons like cheesecake, mille-feuille, yogurt parfaits, french fries and fresh juices, as well as a selection of wines and refreshing cocktails if you're looking for a boozy brunch.
Add Alobar's mille-feuille as a dessert option for brunch at home.
Orders can be made from now on until the pickup days (May 21st to 23rd), and the prepaid pickup is available for parties of 2-6 people at $45 per person. Head on over to Tock to get your order in, and get ready for a decadent Sunday brunch at home!
