Alobar is introducing a new opportunity to enjoy their food on warm summer weekends with the upcoming launch of their cottage-inspired meal box.
The restaurant, under the Alo umbrella, is a beloved extension of the nationally-acclaimed restaurant that has been hard at work adjusting their service during the pandemic. Over the years, we've watched them continue to grow to appeal to new crowds without compromising quality, as they opened up Alobar in Yorkville, Aloette underneath the renowned Alo, and the forthcoming Aloette takeout concept, which is set to open soon in Liberty Village.
After months of running set and a la carte menus for takeout, Alobar is bringing us even more pleasure with the launch of their Cottage Box, which will be available starting June 3. Included in this offering is a ready-to-grill meal kit that's ideal for the backyard or to pack up and carry with you to the cottage. Their convenient, ready-to-go kit for pickup is perfect for two and will set you back $145.
Worried about that long drive spoiling what's to come? Fear not, because they're all packaged in a reusable, insulated bag, perfect for a long car ride and safe to store in your fridge until you're ready to cook.
The boxes will be offered just in time for your drive up north, available each Thursday and Friday. Their first menu boasts an impressive family-sized Aloette wedge, buratta with asparagus, house bread with whipped butter, watermelon salad, a bone-in ribeye and baked rigatoni.
