A new food hall for Asian-inspired cuisines has opened up in North York. From premium sushi, decked out baos, rice boxes, milk tea, sweets and flower bouquets, Upper East Food Club is your one-stop shop for food and lifestyle products.
Joining a slew of restaurants in the area, this new concept is bringing together a lineup of eateries including familiar ones like Korean dessert restaurant Cafe Bora and bubble tea chain Machi Machi.
In addition to purple sweet potato centric desserts and aesthetic drinks that come in the cutest bottles, there’s also omakase boxes and fusion-style sushi at Kokome, and loaded baos with a modern twist at Dayali’s Pear.
While you’ll be tempted to try a bit of everything, food isn’t the only thing you’ll find once you’re there. Alethea Flower Lab, a small flower shop, is set up at the front of the hall with flower bouquets and even Jellycat toy bouquets available for purchase.
The layout of the space is primarily designed for takeout which allows customers to safely order at any of the four food stalls, grab their meals and go. There will also be an option in the future to place a pickup order through the hall’s website.
Upper East Food Club is located at 5317 Yonge Street.
