A well-known mini donut food truck is making their comeback next week in Scarborough.
6ix Donutz has quickly become one of Toronto's most favourite spots for gourmet mini donuts. They have been popping up at various locations across the city and have now finalized a permanent spot for the summer at the Street Eats Market, Scarborough Town Centre location, starting the weekend of June 11.
The owner, who asked to be referred to as the "Donut King", wants to change the donut game by making it fun again, by offering tons of different donut toppings and glazes.
Currently you can find toppings like from Froot Loops, Reese Puffs, marshmallows, graham crackers, sprinkles and much more. You can mix and match glazes for each box like dulce de leche, nutella, blue cream cheese or strawberry. With up to two glazes per box, two toppings and endless premium toppings.
One of the new additions they plan to introduce at the Street Eats Market is what they claim to be the "world's most expensive box of donuts." The team behind 6ix Donuts plans to experiment with some of the world's most premium toppings, such as gold flakes. It will be boxed in a special matte black packaging to enhance the luxurious feel. Their menu will also introduce more vegan options and specials that is being kept a secret for now as the summer unfolds.
Currently 6ix Donutz is renovating their truck to prepare for the StreetEats market. They are more than grateful to have their truck featured at Canada's largest Food Truck Series and look forward to serving more people. The team is also gearing towards releasing their own march in the next month that will be available with limited supply at the truck and online.
