Donuts are having a moment in Toronto right now, and 6ix Donutz is stepping up to the plate, serving up their gourmet mini donuts from their new second location on Queen Street West.
The new outpost opened recently on April 16, with a grand opening celebration that boasted many surprises for those in attendance. Boxes of their hot and fresh donuts covered in 6ix Donutz’ signature brightly-coloured drizzles on top to add a pop of fun flavours like cream cheese frosting, Nutella or dulce de leche, along with a number of customizable toppings including everything from Smarties to Oreo crumbs.
6ix Donutz has had a meteoric rise as one of Toronto’s favourite spots for donuts over the past two years. Starting out serving their golden brown mini donuts from a bright red food truck at different spots throughout the city, last summer 6ix Donutz had a permanent instalment at the Street Eats Market at Scarborough Town Centre. As their popularity in the market and on social media grew, it was clear 6ix Donutz was a hit.
Self-dubbed the “Donut King,” the owner of 6ix Donutz opened up the first 6ix Donutz brick and mortar location just this past March, at 45 Fourwinds Drive near York University. And, if that wasn’t enough, the second location opened up a month later right in the heart of West Queen West.
You can find the new location for 6ix Donutz at 1184 Queen Street West at the corner of Queen Street West and Northcote Avenue, near Gladstone Avenue.
