Apple Upside Down Cake
20 mins Prep Time
40 mins Cook Time
There are many, many ways to use apples in desserts and upside-down cake is one of my favourite ones. The apples make the cake juicy and the spices in the cake make it warm and comforting—an amazing combination for a fall dessert.
You can use dulce de leche, store-bought caramel sauce or even a homemade caramel. The fun part of making this cake for me is that I get to arrange apples in so many different ways. You can choose your own way of doing it, just keep in mind that the more apples, the better!
If you like the combination of a warm dessert and ice cream, serve this apple cake with vanilla ice cream and I guarantee you will love it.
