Officially falling on the third Monday of January every year, Blue Monday has been dubbed the most depressing day of the year. Although there is no scientific evidence backing this claim, seasonal blues are real and with the added bonus of a rampant virus and a province-wide stay-at-home-order, this year's Blue Monday seems to be hitting even harder (not to mention the gloomy day we have been graced with). So what better way to combat the winter blues than with the ultimate roster of comfort food. Think cheesy pizza, meat-filled momos, caramelized burgers and a decadent peanut butter pie. It may be winter, it may be a lockdown, but at least we have some of our favourite spots in the city to keep us well fed.
